Oak Ridge Animal Clinic offers boarding services as a convenience to our clients and their pets. When your pet stays with us, we will care for them like our own furry family members. We will do our utmost to make your pet's stay happy and comfortable, and our highly-trained staff will quickly bring any issues to the attention of our doctors—so you can relax knowing your pet is safe and healthy.
Even with the highest quality care, changes in routine and environment can be stressful for pets. We minimize the impact of stress by monitoring closely, maintaining strict cleanliness protocols, and giving our guests plenty of TLC.
When boarding at Oak Ridge Animal Clinic, a doctor is nearby to address any problems that arise before they become major issues. When our kennel staff notices problems such as decreased appetite, loose stool, or vomiting, they will notify a technician who will contact you for permission to have a doctor examine your pet. If the doctor finds it necessary, they will call you to authorize any treatments. If the problem is serious and we are unable to contact you, we will proceed with treatment at the normal fee. Therefore, it is very important to leave a working contact number so we can reach you in an emergency and discuss any potential treatments.
If your pet has any ongoing medical needs, medications, or special diets, we are well equipped to ensure their needs are met. Please bring all medications foods you are currently using and label them appropriately.
