Radiology

x-rays

Radiographs--often called X-rays—are an imaging technology that is used to evaluate solid tissues or areas of the body with contrasting tissue densities.

Oak Ridge Animal Clinic is equipped to perform routine radiology services to identify many types of illness or injury, including:

  • Arthritis
  • Tumors
  • Lung abnormalities (including pneumonia)
  • Bladder and kidney stones
  • Bone damage
  • Organ integrity
  • Foreign objects

Radiographs are also taken before dental procedures to distinguish between healthy and diseased teeth and determine which require extraction.

Oak Ridge Animal Clinic is the best!!! We would and have recommended to people that we know. Everyone has always been very pleasant and very professional. Everyone makes us feel like we are family and not just another customer. The place always is spotless and smells very clean. We both feel Dr. Schneider is very knowledgeable and we can trust him to take very good care of our boys!!!"
